Hello! My name is Caelan Koch — I am a designer, athlete, and artist with roots in Stanford’s d.school. As a Master of Arts in Sociology, I ground my design practice in systems thinking and thorough research, with a critical lens on social power and equity.

I am passionate about sustainability, conservation, and social impact — I have coached, created, researched, branded, and built—always with intention, empathy, and attention to detail.

I’m seeking a role at a socially responsible company where I can problem-solve, collaborate with a diverse team, and take on meaningful challenges. I value opportunities to grow within an organization, contribute my creativity, and help shape thoughtful, impactful solutions that benefit both people and the planet.

When I’m not designing or exploring what’s next, I coach youth softball in the Palo Alto and East Bay areas, I volunteer with Miracle League, or I help run Mega Camp, an annual softball camp in Anchorage, Alaska. I also volunteer at a raptor sanctuary in Phoenix when I visit home—caring for owls, hawks, falcons, and more.

Outside of coaching and community work, I love cooking, hanging out with my former teammates, practicing Spanish, and going on adventures around NorCal and anywhere else I can travel!
